Club Notes November 21st 2011
The 50th celebration of the 1961 Senior Championship took place in the Old Charm Inn last Saturday night and proved to be a resounding success with the room packed to capacity for a night of nostalgia. Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way. Congratulations again to the players, representatives of the deceased players and those associated with 1961.

The next big club project is the ‘Come Dine With Me’ fundraiser with the intention being that members/supporters or anyone involved with the club will host a meal in their homes with contributions to the host donated to the club. It will run from 25th Nov to 10th Dec. Anyone who would like to host one of these nights please get in touch with Etaoine O’Kane 07704913303 or Eilish Gormley 07769266002. All hosts will go into a draw with the prize being a 200 euro voucher for Mc Nean house ,leading restaurant of chef Neven Maguire, in Blacklion. This presents a chance for all club members to do their part in raising much needed finance in a new and novel way whilst having a great night.
Well done to all our young participants who represented the Club in the Scor na nOg semi-final on Sunday past. Thanks to Mary Fox, Niamh McElduff and our dancers - Ailish Mullan, Orla Mullan, Aideen Fox, Grace Fox, Shannon Kelly, Leanna McKernan, Orla McCrystal and Maeve McCallan. Good luck to Niamh and the dancers as they represent the club in the County Final on Sunday in Kileeshil at 3pm. All support appreciated. Thanks also to Dean Maguirc College and to all who helped out with hosting the semi.
The AGM has been provisionally moved to Dec 4th but confirmation will come in due course.
Congratulations to our neighbours Sperrin Og who won the All Ireland Ladies Junior Final.
