Club Notes March 5th 2012

The Club website has had close to 2000 visits since it was launched with people logging on from the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Turkey, Germany, England, France, Dubai, Monaco and of course Ireland.

The U16 boys lost out to Galbally in their first game of the season but despite being behind going into half time dug in and produced a solid performance in the second half. Please note that the U16s next league game is not on Saturday due to a clash with Ulster handball finals in Cavan. Good luck to all our players involved. They are now fixed to play Errigal Ciaran at home this Sunday at 4pm.

Training for U14 boys takes place on Sunday morning at 11am.

FUN-damentals for P1 and P2 children continues on Tues nights in the ‘Dean’ for 4 more weeks of coaching from 7 to 8pm. A parent must accompany each child.

The next club quiz night takes place in the Old Charm Inn at the start of April –more details later. Attendance is building steadily but we need a big effort next time round to make this a success.

The Nally Gym has new arrangements in place for payment. Those attending need to fill out an envelope with their name, put the money in the envelope and put it in the box. Members of An Charraig Mhór GFC pay £2.50 per session and non club members £5 per session.

ACTIV8 is going strong in to week three with 220 members taking part.

Summer Camp will be on the week beginning July 9th.  

Monthly committee meeting takes place next Monday evening 12th March at 8.30pm.
