Club Notes June 18th 2012
The senior’s and reserves had two good wins over Killyclogher on Saturday and now take on Ardboe on Saturday (23rd June) at 5.30 and 7pm away.
The minors play Trillick away in their last game of the season on Tuesday night (June 19th). U14 boys lost to Errigal Ciaran last weekend, this Sunday they travel to Cappagh for 1pm start.
Og Sport Finals are to take place on Tuesday 26th June - time and venue tbc. Training for U12 boys continues on Mondays and Thursdays in Magilligan at 7pm. They played a series of games in Killyclogher on Monday night which proved most beneficial to the development of the lads.
The Thursday night youth coaching continues this week for under 8’s and under 10’s from 7 -8pm at Pairc Colmcille.
Club members are currently selling the ‘Red or Black’ tickets in the parish along with members of the handball club. Please support both clubs in this vital fundraising venture.
Over the next few weeks the club will be proceeding with the vetting procedure in line with the GAA Child Protection Policy. This applies to all coaches, committee and regular volunteers including grounds-men and members that regularly frequent the clubrooms and who have not already completed the Access NI vetting procedure. Those who did not collect and complete forms need to do so asap. We want to assure everyone concerned that this process will be treated with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
The club are looking forward to the reopening of the main pitch and a date of August 12th has been earmarked.
Lotto numbers 9,13,14,19,23. There were 18 winners with 3 numbers.
Tyrone's semi-final - Please be advised that Ulster Council has confirmed that the semi-final in Clones on Saturday 30th June will not be an all-ticket event. Only the Gerry Arthurs Stand will be ticketed. More details to follow.

Good luck to our U14 girls and their coaches in the Championship Final this Wednesday 20th June at 7.15pm in Newtownstewart. All support appreciated. See their team picture on the website.
U16 girls travelled to Omagh for their first league match of the season and lost out by 6points to St Endas. On Monday 25th they play Cappagh at home, kick-off at 7pm. U12 girls play Pomeroy on Tuesday 26th at home with 6.30pm kick-off. Donaghmore match to be refixed.
There is a possibility that U10 girls will be going to a blitz in Cappagh on Saturday, girls will be advised at gaelic4girls on Thursday evening.
Training for U8s and U10s continues on Thursday evening 7-8pm at Pairc Colmcille.To ensure safety parents/guardians are to collect their child at the gate. Children will not be allowed across the car park.
The next major fundraiser, in association with the handball club, is the innovative concept of ‘Red and Black’. Anyone interested in helping with ticket sales please get in touch with a committee member.Our next quiz night is pencilled in for Wed 27th June.
