Club Notes July 16th 2012

The Thursday night youth coaching is still on the holiday break this week but resumes on Thursday 26th July.
The U-12 boys competed well in the Derrylaughan Tournament last Saturday and reached the shield final only to loose out to a strong Glen team. Well done to all the boys.
Club members are currently selling the ‘Red or Black’ tickets in the parish along with members of the handball club. The response so far has been very positive. Please support both clubs in this vital fundraising venture.
The club are progressing with the vetting procedure in line with the GAA Child Protection Policy. This applies to all coaches, committee and regular volunteers including grounds-men and members that regularly frequent the clubrooms and who have not already completed the Access NI vetting procedure. Those who did not collect and complete forms need to do so asap. We want to assure everyone concerned that this process will be treated with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
Committee meeting on Monday evening 23rd July at 8.30 pm. The club are looking forward to the reopening of the main pitch and a date of August 12th has been earmarked.
Lotto Numbers 2,5,7,11,22. There was one winner matching all the numbers to scoop the jackpot of £7000 – Brian Gormley.

The senior ladies await details of the championship re-fixture with Cil Iseal.The U16 girls have their next league match on Monday 30th July.There is no youth coaching this week. It resumes on Thursday 26th July 7-8pm.Thank to all those who helped out at football summer camp last week. Pictures can be viewed on the website. Good luck and best wishes to Elaine Coyle and Gerard who are getting married on Thursday 19th. Best of luck to them in their life together.
