Club Notes April 30th 2012
The seniors / reserves play Edendork at home in the in their next league fixture on Sunday at 2.15 and 3.45 respectively.
Good luck to Minor boys in championship against Clonoe on Wednesday evening May 2nd. The game is in Clonoe at 7.15. Next match for U16 boys is against Errigal Ciaran on Saturday, 5th May, at 4pm in Dunmoyle.
U14 boys are taking part in a tournament in Slaughtneil on Saturday and U14 league starts on Tuesday evening for both teams. Good luck to all involved.
Training for U12 boys continues on Mondays and Thursdays in Magilligan at 7pm. The Thursday night youth coaching continues this week for under 8’s and under 10’s from 7 -8pm at Pairc Colmcille.
Well done to U10 boys in their blitz last weekend. Thanks to all those who helped out in any way to make the event the success it was.
The outdoor phase of FUN-damentals is underway for parents and children at 7pm on Thursday nights at Pairc Colmcille. It is important that a parent attends with each child as large numbers will be more difficult to handle in the wider expanses of the training pitch.
Our next fundraiser, in association with the handball club, is the innovative concept of ‘Red and Black’.
The Ceili and Old Time dancing continues in the clubrooms at 8.30.

The Senior ladies had a victory over Cappagh on Saturday evening and their next match is against Aodh Ruadh away on Saturday May 12th with a 6pm throw in. Congratulations to the minor girls who gave a great team performance to overcome Errigal Ciaran in the quarter final of the championship. Training continues as advised for their semi-final match away to Glenelly on Tuesday 8th May at 6.45pm. Good luck to all involved. All support appreciated. Training for U14 girls continues as advised. Next match is at home to Clann na nGael with details to be confirmed. U12 girls travelled to Cill Iseal on Saturday past. Training continues as advised with possible refixture this week and on Saturday 12th we are at home to Fr Rocks.Coaching for U8 and U10 girls continues on Thursday evening at Pairc Colmcille from 7-8pm. To ensure safety parents/guardians are to collect their child at the gate. Children will not be allowed across the car park.
We are taking part in an U10 blitz on Saturday morning in Loughmacrory - details will be given to girls at training. Ladies County Board are organising Child Protection Course - please contact Eleanor or Paula to put name forward.
