Club Notes April 16th 2012
The senior’s refused to die fighting all the way to the finish to win a share of the points with a last minute goal against Errigal Ciaran on Sunday.
Next up is Dromore this Sunday evening at 6.30 in Killyclogher. Senior game only. Reserves will be re-fixed as only senior game will have neutral venue.
The minors lost out narrowly to Cappagh last Friday but delivered a much improved performance. They travel to Strabane this Tuesday for their next fixture at 7pm.
The U-16s play Galbally at home on Friday night at 7pm. Well done to U14 boys who progress from their group in the Feile. We wish them luck in the semi-finals which are pencilled in for 24th April. Our second team were unable to play at the weekend due to a water logged pitch with details of re-fixture to be confirmed. Boys will be informed at training.
The Thursday night youth coaching will kicked last Thursday and continues this week for under 8’s and under 10’s from 7 -8pm at Pairc Colmcille.
Well done to U10 boys in blitz last weekend. U 8 Go Games start on Sat 21st April. There will then be a ‘parent night’ on this Thursday 19th April at the field to outline the outdoor phase of FUN-damentals. Parents and children will then attend from the 26th April on.
Our next fundraiser, in association with the handball club, is the innovative concept of ‘Red and Black’. The Ceili and Old Time dancing will now start on Friday 27th April in the clubrooms at 8.30.
Good luck to the Errigal Ciaran and Omagh clubs who represent Tyrone in the All Ireland Scór Sinsear Finals.

An Charraig Mhór Ladies
The senior ladies consolidated their league position with a hard fought win over Errigal Ciaran at home on Monday night. Played in atrocious conditions the girls displayed great spirit to carve out a victory in the most trying of circumstances. Minor girls continue to train as advised with round 7 of the league away to Errigal Ciaran on Monday evening at 7pm. They play the same opposition in the championship on Monday 30th April.U14 girls lost out to a strong Galbally side in round 2 of the league and this Saturday they play Mna na Deirge at Pairc Colmcille at 1pm. All support appreciated. U12 girls continue to train on Wednesday evenings as arranged. They played very well in their first match last Friday evening in Kildress, well done to all involved. Next match is away to Cill Iseal on Saturday 28th April.
Coaching for U10 girls continues on Thursday evening at Pairc Colmcille from 7-8pm. To ensure safety parents/guardians are to collect their child at the gate. Children will not be allowed across the car park.
