U16 boys training continue to train as advised. U14 boys are out on Saturday mornings at the youth club - 10am to 11.30am. Minor girls have also started training - Tuesday and Thursdays at 6 – 7pm at Pairc Colmcille and 10-11am on Sunday morning at Fr Magilligan. A Special Needs Gaelic Football Coaching Programme commences in Killyclogher Parish Hall at 5.30pm to 6.30pm on 15th February, Age Group : 12 to Adult. The clubs quiz night continues on Friday night in the Old Charm Inn. With 8 teams last week it was a good start. Get your team together for a great nights craic. Team Registration is at 8.30 with the quiz starting at 9pm. Teams of 5. Entry fee is £20 per team per night. Thanks to all those who represented Club Colmcille in Scor Sinsear at the weekend - Tarlach, Martin & Conal in the Quiz, Michael in the solo singing and Shauna in Recitation. The club will be hosting the semi-final of Scor Sinsear in Dean Maguirc College on Fri Feb 10th at 8pm. Registration night for all members to pay their membership will take place on this Thursday Feb 2nd from 7 – 9.30 pm. It is important that all players register or they can not participate in training or matches. Membership is £20 for adults and £5 for children. Registration forms are now available for download from the website (Latest News on home page) to cut down on time filling out forms on the night. The Nally Gym continues to be a valuable resource for personal and team preparation but as we will all be aware it costs money to maintain it. Everyone using the facility has an obligation to pay for its use as they would if attending any gym. The club are presently having a look at gym arrangements but for the interim period members of An Charraig Mhór GFC pay £2.50 per session and non club members £5 per session. Presentation Night will be held on Feb 18th when we will honour our Senior Ladies and our President for 2012 Packie Mc Philips. Tickets are available from committee members, cost £15. Key dates this year also included the Summer Camp which will be on the week beginning July 9th. Also in the pipeline is the Paudie O’Sé Tournament with both our ladies and mens senior teams travelling to Kerry for that weekend at the end of February. Club Shop – new gloves for youth players are now in stock with the Carmen crest on them. Ages from 5-6 up to 10-11. Price £12. Shop will be open again on Wed 25th Jan from 8 -9pm. Lotto Numbers 1,3,4,7,21. Twenty winners £5 each. Next weeks jackpot £6600. Monthly committee meeting takes place on Monday evening 6th February at 8.30pm.
