The seniors beat Omagh 1-10 to 11 points in Omagh on Sunday.
Kieran Fox surprised by starting in full forward but impressed with a goal and a point in the first 20 minutes. Kevin McNally scored the rest for Carmen in the first half, with 3 frees, leaving them 4 points ahead at the break.
On the restart, Ronan McNally had scored within a minute, followed by a point from Brendan Martin. Kevin Gormley went off injured 10 minutes into the second half and this saw the introduction of Kevin McCartan to midfield with Colm McGurk moving to the defence. Omagh replied with 2 points but Ronan McNally cancelled them out with two of his own. Michael Gallagher came on for Ruairi Grimes and Omagh added another score only to be cancelled out by Ronan McNally again. Omagh fought to the end and scored in the dying minutes but it wasn`t enough to snatch a victory.
