Killyclogher St Mary`s drew a large crowd this evening for the blessing of their new facilities, but with eight minutes of the first half to play, the gala atmosphere turned somewhat more sombre as Carmen`s All Star Conor Gormley sustained a serious ankle injury that ultimately led to the referee calling time on the game as the light was fading.
Along will gaels across the country we wish Conor well and hope that we will soon see this modest and talented young man back in the the green white and gold of Carmen.
